Hi! I was born in Bucharest, Romania on August 29, 1997 at Caritas Hospital at 9 pm. I was born via C-Section at 6 months but sadly my mom unable to care for me, leaving me in intense care of the nurses. My mother used the name Ecaterina Popa and used the address 27 Panduri, Bucharest. I was told my mother had a child before me and she had kept him/her. I was named Mariana Popa by the nurses. I was placed in Orphanage 1 then taken into foster care by a loving family. In September of 1998 I was adopted by my current family and taken to the US. I live in Saint Louis, Missouri now with my adopted family. #2

Maybe I can help you reconnect with your birth families..... My name is Elisabeta, I was adopted from Suceava at age 8 along with 3 of my siblings and have recently met and reconnected with my biological family through Facebook. There is a page on Facebook called The Never Forgotten Romanian Children, its purpose is to help adoptees and/or families looking for their adopted children meet up. This is done all for free with the help of 3 people, 2 of which live in Romania. They've helped more than 50 families connect in the past few years and are highly resourceful in searching. Please send them a message, they'll do all they can to at the very least locate your families. I have been to Romania twice now and will go for the third time in a few weeks, if you are from Suceava or a small village near it, I will be happy to at least ask around about your family and see if the are still living there. #3

Hello, I was born in Potlogi, Romania and I am looking to get connected with my birth mother or grandmother. I was adopted by US parents in 1991 and have since then lived in U.S.A. I plan on traveling soon to Romania and would love to see if I can get in touch with them. If anyone can help me, please let me know and I would like to get in touch. I believe my birth mothers name was Ciobanu Catalin she was 16 at the time, I have some documents I could find for it. #4

Hello, I was adopted when I was 8 weeks old from Bucharest in 1991. I don't know a lot about my birth mother and father other than my birth mothers name and what my name was before I was adopted. I have tried to look for ways to contact and find information about my adoption and I was wondering if you had any advice for me. Thank you, Rebecca #11

Continuing on, if you're from Suceava please contact me as I will be traveling there in a few weeks, I'd be happy to ask around for your family. My email is xxxx Most families in small villages or towns reside there for generations, the smaller communities are tight with everyone at least knowing someone from a specific family. Keep this in mind when searching. It's not impossible to make contact :) don't give up #12
